Geocache Container Details

An extremely durable watertight box with the ability to hold a hefty amount of geo-swag, travel bugs, and log books.

Color
Comes in army green with writting on side. There may be scratches and other forms of wear as each ammo can is purchased used from the miliary. Due to the durability of each ammunition can, such wear is almost always cosmetic.

Lids
Although rare, ammo can lids may fall off in the geocaching field. Simply align the hinge and push the lid sideways to reassemble.

Hiding Considerations
As with any military issued item, it is extremely important to mark the geocache container clearly as a geocache. This helps prevent geocaches from being detinated by the bomb squad, from scaring the general public, and keeping geocaching's public view friendly.
